That's something you would need to answer, some people can get by without cable tv services and only live with netflix/hulu/amazon/redbox/ota tv while others can't.  I personally had no problem dropping it as I didn't watch it much at all, and netflix had enough of the shows I did watch in it's streaming options.  

 

If you can live without it than sure you can cancel the tv.  The voip phone service isn't necessary in the functionality of the device, so if you feel you don't need it than you can drop it too.

 

The internet is a necessity for this though.

Those that you would want to access the streaming options yes.  If you have a smart tv, you more than likely could do without the roku anyways.

The lines don't necessarily matter as you will be receiving the wireless signal through your router.  The box doesn't have any sort of coaxial input at all, it's purely an internet device.  I don't have a projector so I'm not sure how that works, I would assume if it has a way to receive a composite and or hdmi input the roku box should just hook up to it, also if it has a dvi or vga input there are converters for hdmi to either of those.

I believe the majority of their boxes have a composite (red white yellow) and hdmi outputs, so no it doesn't matter unless you buy an hd only box.

While they themselves don't charge for services (you buy just the box) the various "channels" you will have to pay for.  So you would possibly need a hulu plus subscription, an amazon prime subscription, a netflix subscription, an hbo go subscription, so on and so fourth.
