He was a 2nd round talent who fell in the draft due to off field concerns. They called Richardson a value pick in the 4th, much like Harrison in the 3rd.

Who says they even have Taylor high enough to even be in the consideration at #7 in the first place? It's basically all the talking heads just trying to force him to us at that spot.

Let me take a quick look at the OL now with Wester signed. Typically we'll keep nine or ten OLs, and the guys we know about are...

LT Cam Robinson, Josh Wells
LG Andrew Norwell
C Brandon Linder, Tyler Shatley
RG AJ Cann

This leaves three or four spots, and one will hopefully be filled with an OT in the first or second round (I'm thinking 2nd round)... so two or three spots.

As the backup RT, we have three contenders... Will Richardson, Cedric Ogbuehi and now Leonard Wester. One or two make the roster.

Remaining contenders for the other one or two spots are G KC McDermott and G Brandon Thomas. I imagine they'll have some competition in the form of late round draft picks or rookie UDFAs.

As for AJ Cann, there's no need to even contemplate replacing him as the starting RG. His latest contract extension says he's their starting RG this year.
