Foles isn't good enough to be skipping any workout, or practice. He needs all the work and help he can get.

But it "voluntary "   So now it depends on how good you are if it's ok to skip voluntary training camp?

Is the concept really so difficult to grasp?

The team has made it clear they want everyone there.
Offensive players would be foolish not to begin getting a jump on a new playbook with new terminology. 

Defensive players that consider missing have slightly more rope with which to hang themselves, but if you’re going to skip it, you’d better feel you’re valuable enough to the team to live through a little time in the dog house with some of the staff. (Be able to survive some scrutiny) 

So yes, if you’re not good enough to have a starting role cemented in April, your [BLEEP] had better be there buttering up to the teacher, doing all of those extra credit assignments and leaving a fresh Apple on the  desk on your way out the door each day.
