Look at it this way...The Texans don't have to blow smoke at all. It's easy, they select first.

 

The fact that they are blowing smoke says something about their mind towards the quality of the quarterback prospects and Clowney.

 

The top two draft selectors are able to negotiate contracts ahead of the draft, right?

 

When that happens the PR people hired to promote certain players shut down, their job is done.

 

You have a good sense of when that happens when the media backs off and agrees to promote the next in line players.
