Coughlin will be 73 at the end of this month. He can't relate to today's generation. He's stuck in the old school. He's stubborn, hard headed, thinks he knows everything and likely still has the "my way, or the highway attitude" that most people his age has.

Got to keep in mind that Yannick and Ramsey etc, were drafted when Coughlin wasn't here. He probably feels like they aren't his guys as well, because they don't have his thumb print on them. 

But on the other side of that argument, he had no problem throwing $22m+ per at Bortles when they could have let him just play out his 5th year option and we wouldn't be eating a bunch of dead $ this year for cutting him. This FO is so [BLEEP] backwards sometimes it's honestly amazing.
