Foles press conference at the end of Day 1 of joint practices with the Ravens:
https://www.jaguars.com/video/foles-we-r...-direction But I especially wanted to post this to key in on a specific part. Go to 4:33 when a reporter asks Foles about the first throw of the day to Fournette. The reporter asks him if Fournette was his intended first read with Foles responding something to the extent of: "Nope, he was my third read but the timing might look like it was my first read. But you have to play this game fast and based off the pressure and how the secondary was coming in, I wanted to give it to Leonard right now and he probably got about 30 yards down the sideline." I know it might not seem like much but boy did that response hit me. What a breath of fresh air and seemingly the opposite of what we saw from Bortles. |
