Gardner is still playing a LOT better than Bortles did in his first few years, let alone his rookie year.

i'm not gonna say I was thrilled with his game today but he IS playing behind a wretched Oline, and still possibly dealing with a lingering groin issue. Foles would've been sacked several times today if he were back there instead.

And Bortles is ten times the turnover machine Gardner is right now. Let's not even get started on that. For a rook, this guy isn't horrendous. He (And the rest of the offense if you ask me) DOES need to work on the redzone offense in practice. They've gotta be able to work on scoring when they're right there, a yard or two from scoring.
