So you are saying Haskins should sit for a year then he will be good?  Why cant Minshew sit behind Foles for a year and get even better like you think Haskins should sit, Minshew already has records and he hasnt had the luxury to learn behind a vet and it's not like he has an All Pro cast surrounding him.  Gruden was fired because he dont have a QB and he didnt want Haskins, so he put him in there to show why he didnt want him and Haskins did just that

The point here is to make sure you are absolutely positive Minshew is the future before passing on other QB prospects. There isn't a "bonafide" QB coming out (because no one is a sure thing) but there are some really good ones that have the potential (just like Minshew has potential) to be really great.

It's ok to love what Minshew is doing and at the same time, make sure you do your homework to ensure that you're not making a mistake by passing on other QB prospects. The Cardinals did just that last year and they ended up with Murray. If you have the chance to upgrade, you take it.

Also, when you think you are set at a position, that's how you end up with Bortles and Cody Kessler.
