A former Jag on a 1010 show yesterday summed it up well by saying that Minshew simply had a rookie day. All football players have them. Usually the best remedy is the next game when the player has a chance at redemption. Unfortunately, barring another Foles injury, yesterday was most likely Minshew’s last game of 2019.

It sucks he has to end the season on this note. As another poster pointed out, the NFL is not replete with QB success stories of being benched and coming back stronger. However, I truly believe Minshew will be an exception. He has the talent, both physically and mentally, and now some experience. Continue to develop him until the Foles train runs out. He will be our ace-in-the-hole, and a guarantee that we will not have to use one of our high draft picks on a QB.
