Russell sees it from a historical point of view. Even though he is the 2nd it is still important to him. It shows progress. It says look were came from and where we are headed. He also sees it from the numbers angle. The QB position was and still is dominated by white players. Although one black QB has won one, all the other 46 champions have been white. Please tell me you are so dense you don't recognize this.

 

I don't care what Wilson thinks. If race is important to him, that is fine with me. But just by reading this thread, I see not all black people care about it. We don't know if any other black quarterback would say the same thing or not. That is just his opinion, not right or wrong. What is special to one person does not matter to another and that is OK. It does not mean I fail to recognize the historical facts.
