Those were all good teams, but none of them had a better roster than the Bengals have. The Bengals were good enough to win matchups all over the field. When that didn't happen Dalton couldn't be the guy to tilt the game in his team's favor.

In now way I'm saying Dalton is a great QB (his worst moments are in big/clutch games). But, there were a couple stretches of games this season where he played extremely well. I'm pretty sure he went 4 1/2 games without throwing a pick, or turning it over. And, he had a stretch of games he was really racking up some yards/TDs.

I'm a Bengals fan (attend 4-5 home games a year, and watch all other games on TV). Of course, I'd love to see the Bengals have a better QB. But, Dalton has also been very good at times. He completely falls apart during big games, and on primetime. That's his really big issue.
