Arob is just trying to get a long term big money pay day. Play nice with current team and hope they lock him up. They have an out after this year, he doesn't want them to use it... and they shouldn't. He's getting better post injury.

Here's what I like about Chicago though revolving around Mitchell Trubisky. They're not settling on him. There's already been grumbling that after year three they're potentially going to look for an upgrade or his replacement. Our team double downed on Bortles knowing full well that he was still struggling to mechanically improve each year and he had to constantly fly out west to "retool" since he's not a "natural" thrower of the football. 

That alone tells you that at least Chicago takes their jobs seriously. Hell, the same year they drafted Trubisky they had previously already invested a decent amount of money in Mike Glennon just in case they needed an option or two. That's what you're supposed to do.

That is what you are suppose to do but it contradicts the stance alot of our fans take.  We have a 30 yr old QB, a 6th round rookie, and no one feels the need to take a more polished 1st rd QB.  That means we still don't get it or just think we are the outlier.  A good QB can mask the deficiencies on offense but an average to bad QB needs stars around him to look successful.  We are somewhere in the middle with Gardner, and Foles is our poor man's version of Kirk Cousins/Fitzmagic but without the success so far. We still have a shot at this division with a few upgrades here and there but no one feels that QB is a top priority this offseason. Thats alot of faith in the current position group.
