I agree with you. I was riding high on Minshew Mania too. Especially after that crazy game he put on display in Denver. He was making guys miss in the pocket like a young Tony Romo while not hesitating to fire one in there like Brett Favre. With that said. He has to SHOW us more in these next three games.

I know the morale is down. I know the team is pretty much all but lost but it's boom or bust with three weeks left. I want to see this kid finish strong despite the ineptitude engulfing him. No Chark tomorrow. That means he'll only have Conley & Westbrook to get comfortable with and maybe Cole here and there.

But I want to see this kid either win out and carry the load or at least lose in a close fashion like he did against the tinhorns, Panthers and Saints. I can stomach that. But he has to slow down a bit. I know it's a mofo trying to sit back in the pocket and wait and wait. But he has to hang in there and see an opening and take it. He's still trying to take off and run too early. Which can be good and bad at times.

But realistically I don't think we have a shot at one of the top two QB's in next draft's draft. I can't see Burrow nor Tagovailoa slipping to us around that 6th - 10th range. And I am just not a fan at ALL of Herbert out of Oregon. Hurts MIGHT run up the draft board if he somehow manages to beat LSU and potentially OSU or Clemson after that but even then it would come down to who is coaching this team in 2020.

If Greg Roman ends up being the new hire. It's very, very possible he sees a bit of Lamar Jackson in Jalen Hurts. Does he have Jackson's 4.3 speed in a straight line or moves in the open field? Not exactly. But boy is he pretty damn close. Hurts may be the next best thing for this team.

If Roman thinks he's the answer in his offensive approach? And the General Manager agrees with him it's possible you see Hurts called with our first pick of the first round and they try to either beef up the offensive lineman with one of those top OT's or OG's on the board or they go BAP on defense.

Wouldn't shock me at all.

We already have a Glennon and Trubisky for next year, a new QB comes in the 2021 draft once Foles is off the books and/or Minshew loses the job on performance.
