Ngakoue has a better career pressure rate than Fowler and so does Josh Allen as a rookie. 

I find the tendency of fans to lament Fowler’s trade a bit odd. He was inconsistent, slow to develop and outplayed by a lower draft pick during his Jags tenure - not to mention the off-field and locker room drama

The person I was replying too was saying Yan is our first good pass rusher since Brackens which is clearly not true. Fowler is a good player too and since he's moved out to LA is as good an edge rusher as Yan and better at holding the edge against the run. Josh Allen is another great example of a good pass rusher we picked and who knows, he may turn out to be a great player in the long run.

So as I said, you can replace these guys, it's not impossible.
