I am kind of feeling the opposite. Yan thinks he’s worth more than he is, and I am betting he will end up on a smaller deal like Bell did if he plays hardball. Either way, if a team gives me a high 2nd for him or a future first, I am absolutely jumping on it. We don’t need to send a message, just need to keep the guys who actually want to be here. Which despite what many people have posted on the board is not Yan. Let someone else pay for him. Now Allen on the other hand, is looking like a future all-pro. You pay that guy top of the league money.
