If they cut him his number this year is $33.875 million. Would a group on a 1 year "must win" hot seat really do that to themselves?

If they trade him they save $3 million and some change. That's not a very good incentive to move him when he's probably going to win the starting job in August.

With this owner, general manager and coach? I wouldn't put anything past them. They [BLEEP] suck.

To add further. "Must win" was in effect in 2018 & 2019 and good old Khan decided they were still okay based on their contract extensions he gave them. 

He's either that out of touch and that cheap when it comes to organizational "structure" or he's just a dick head looking to further alienate this fan base to drive down ticket sales to move away from here.
