#1 -- placing Foles 3rd on the QB depth chart kills any trade value that he may currently have since other teams know you just want to dump him

#2 -- Foles would never cancel his contract since no other team would even come close to paying him $17 million.  I think his value may be closer to $8 million so he's not going to take a $9 million dollar pay cut just to go to another team.
