I wonder if our political polarization is now going to affect the brands people buy.  Like, you're in a grocery store, and someone sees you buy Goya, and they know you're a Republican, but if you buy Old El Paso, you're a democrat.

At this point I buy what's available. Our stores in my town still aren't stocked with all the brands usually on the shelf. I don't care who buys what. I'm not at the store to critique how others spend their money and never would have thought anyone would until you mentioned it. As divided as people are I wouldn't doubt it. Sadly. 

And unless someone is speaking out about a safety issue I don't let what people say influence my buying in a negative way and even then I research to be sure it's a legit issue.
