Weaver was cheap so Gene did not have up to the salary cap to spend on top of that Caldwell has had much more draft capital.

As someone else said it' like comparing feces to vomit.  It all stinks.   The real issue is Caldwell is going on his 7th year here.   That is disgusting.

IF he was a locker room problem why not just come out and say that.  They were coy about it.

You have clearly forgotten how bad it was with Gene. None of his picks ever made a pro bowl. None of them were traded for anything of value. Almost all where off the team within 2 years of him being gone. There is no comparison between gene smith and Caldwell. One is an all time worst GM and the other is average at worst.
