I can't speak to what happened with him in high school.

But can anyone successfully argue that Bortles was a good QB?

Foles played 11 plays here, got hurt, missed half the season, played three games and wasn't close to what was expected;.  Minshew came in as a rookie, and wasn't going to take safeties out of the box.

Face it, Fournette was right.

When I hear him say it, he sounds more excited to play with Brady than disparaging towards the Jags. He also makes great points about facing less fronts that are trying to stop the run.

All that being said, it was still the sort of brain fart moment that gets examined under a microscope. He has had a few of these so far and they will probably pester his teams the rest of his career.

If I were Tampa, I am not really worried about this being an insult towards his old team. I am much more concerned that he wants to ride the passing game's coat tails. Typically RBs like him want to impose the running game on their opponents. I don't care if there are 8 in the box, you can't stop us. That is the attitude that worked in 2017 for him, but for whatever reason he lost that.
