It's a scheme thing. Wash may be the greatest coach in the world at teaching the Seattle scheme, but it's still the Seattle scheme. A Scheme that worked for like 4 years before it was busted. How many superbowls did Seattle win with it? I feel like it wasn't even that many, not enough to justify half the league using this scheme. Its dumb, predictable and requires too many high talent players at key positions to make work in the first place.

Good defense is like good offense, reading the play and creating mismatches. Instead we're bashing our head into the wall trying to out talent the opposing team with a bunch of replacements.

I still remember slamming my head into the table that 2017 year when Dante would end up on a TE here or a WR there. Or Poz ended up covering a deep route. Our defense was good then too. Knew Wash was going to be an issue ever since.
