Again... I hear your complaint and feel your pain. But what do you propose schematically to make it better with our current personnel?  Cover 0 and put our DB's on islands all over the field?  I am not a fan of that.  We might create more sacks but we'd likely be giving up 40 points a game with huge plays against us.

Coverage wouldn't be as much of a problem if we weren't constantly rushing 4 but never getting close to the QB. Gotta generate pass rush by getting creative there, imo. Last week and last night it seemed like the QBs had 5 seconds or more every throw. How many coverage units can hold up that long in the NFL?

Bring more of those 34 looks we were told were coming. Get Allen and Chaisson on the field together more often. Stunts and mix in some blitzes.

We're being torched as is so why not try SOMETHING different?
For all the flak people get for being Caldwell apologists, that is eerily similar to what I'm seeing in defense of Wash, all of a sudden.

We knew before the season this defense would struggle. But not to the tune of letting QBs march down the field throwing 90% of their passes every game.

No we can't go all out blitz and leave our young DBs out on islands all the time. But we can't rush 4 and play zone all day either.
