Minshew has 15 starts, you don't clearly know anything about a QB with that small a sample size.

If Trevor isn't a guarantee, how do you know he's not the next Matt Stafford or Philip Rivers (who was a beast in his younger days mind you). Shoot he could be the next Jameis Winston. Wasted first overall pick.
You just want the next hot thing and if Trevor flames out in 2 years you'd be clamoring for the next college star hoping he magically fixes a roster devoid of talent. Does Trevor play defense? Or OL? Can he catch?

Minshew ain't perfect and he may end up not being a franchise QB. We'll know much more by seasons end. But you can keep all that tank talk. Minshew is in his 2nd year, 3 games in... pump the brakes on the sky falling chicken little.
