Yes, right now questions about Hunter are framed as questions of evidence. Was that really his computer, was it tampered with, who was he talking to with that computer, etc.
These are not at all comparable to last year's questions of impeachment.
The impeachment questions didn't hinge on evidence. There, no one disputed that funds from our government to Ukraine were delayed, and no one disputed that Trump wanted Ukraine's government to produce statements or evidence to turn the previous investigation into Trump's ties to Russia back on the Democrats. We don't need to discuss the evidence of that, Trump's people admitted it.
The question was, were Trump's actions a legitimate use of his power, or was he abusing his power. That's a subjective question. It's a matter of opinion, not evidence.
