The sad part that will ultimately be washed over in the pages of history if Trump looses will be the coalition he formed.  Donald Trump will probably have the second most amount of popular votes in the history of the country more than likely edging out Obama's 2008 victory.  He will receive a greater percentage of the non-white vote than Any Republican Since Richard Nixon.  He won Married Women, He broke records with hispanics.   The list goes on.  69 million raw vote was a fever dream for republican consultants.   If he looses it took a pandemic and 2 months of early voting to push back against the strongest Dog the GOP has brought to the fight in its history.

Based on what you said, I suppose it is a fact that the "lazy vote" always goes to the Democrat, and mail in will never actually help the Republican party no matter who the candidate is.

Are you saying people who voted mail-in are lazy, just because they wanted to stay out of the crowds of people in election lines, coughing all over one another during a pandemic? Not to mention the freezing cold weather, (we can't all live in nice, warm places like Florida.) If so, that is very obtuse. I know just as many people here in Ohio who mail-in voted for Trump, than I do people who voted for Biden. Choosing to do things the "common sense" way, doesn't make people lazy, it makes them intelligent. If someone gives you an easier way to do things without penalty and you turn it down, that doesn't make you diligent, it makes you stubborn and hard-headed.
