In reality, the margin from 2016 was razor thin in 3 traditionally democratic states, and they were also aided by a strong Green Candidate.  Both sides exponentially increased their turnout, and ultimately the biggest difference is no Jill Stein to steal far left votes and Biden put together a clear compromise with the Bernie AOC wing of the party.  Hats off to them.  

The sad part that will ultimately be washed over in the pages of history if Trump looses will be the coalition he formed.  Donald Trump will probably have the second most amount of popular votes in the history of the country more than likely edging out Obama's 2008 victory.  He will receive a greater percentage of the non-white vote than Any Republican Since Richard Nixon.  He won Married Women, He broke records with hispanics.   The list goes on.  69 million raw vote was a fever dream for republican consultants.   If he looses it took a pandemic and 2 months of early voting to push back against the strongest Dog the GOP has brought to the fight in its history.

There are shenanigans in this election. The morning after, I was ready to accept that Biden lost. After looking at the numbers, I don't buy it. I don't think it matters unless Trump can't prove that Dems cheated, but I won't ever believe they won this thing fairly. You mean the party that rigged the election against Bernie only wants to play fair with Trump? Get out of here. They are fighting for total control of this country. Senate is next. 

As to the bolded part, the only thing I can think of that would rationally explain that is young people only voting for Biden with no interest in politics, so it's not impossible. I can rationalize almost every weird thing that has happened this election, but, collectively, it doesn't make sense. WAY too many abnormalities in voting behavior and practices. Universal mail-in voting played a key role in creating this chaos, and the people that could have cleaned it up didn't want to. Democrats love to point fingers at Republicans for complaining, but they literally break every system designed to regulate integrity.
