I'd be OK with Rick Smith. He drafted Watt and Hopkins. Nuff said. Texans always had a better than average roster but no QB. Having #2 pick to compete with Minshew and insert veteran retread (not named Glennon) should solve that riddle. 

The real debate is Fields vs. BYU QB. Discuss... Unless we're talking about Ryan Grigson, a blue-chip QB can cover over a lot of GM miscues. Manning kept Polian employed for many years after he lost his touch.
