The only thing Blake Bortles have better than that Garrard was the wide receivers and that's not by much but despite that Blake Bortles put up better numbers and had more important wins in his tenure then David Garrard. Is true  that David Garrard was more consistent than Blake Bortles yes but he also had a better coaches and as a result, got the best out of him. If Blake had David coaching staff he would still be our quarterback for the Jaguar franchise to this day.

Let's be clear, I'm not a Blake Bortles apologist or leg Humper but I am ejective when it comes to Blake Bortles and David Garrard career because I watch both of them in their Prime. David Garrard had more to work with and accomplished less than what Blake did under similar circumstances. It's easy to dismiss Blake because when he was bad he was terrible but same time, when he was good he was great as well so let's not Blake career was similar to Kyle Boller or Blaine Gabbert.
