With the recent release of Haskins I could see Washington holding on to Smith as a bridge/mentor when they draft Wilson (I assume, guess they could dip into the OSU pool again lol)

He'll be long gone. Many mocks are now sending Zach Wilson #2 to the Jets. If they are smart, he should be their pick. Right now, Washington is in the playoff hunt, despite their record. They'll end up with Trask, Mac jones, Trey Lance or maybe even Justin Fields, if he keeps sliding.
