Someone said that the Jaguars should try to build the team into an elite defense and just accept a game manager QB, then pointing to the Seahawks as a team that made this method work. It's a wrong notion for two reasons. The first is that teams with game manager QBs don't win in the playoffs. That's why the Bengals and texans have been so bad in the playoffs. The second is that Russell Wilson isn't a game manager, he's a playmaker. Nothing in my point says the Jaguars have to draft a QB this year. Clear now? |
