It seems like all of the ducks (or stars) have aligned for a potential trade. Caldwell has the clout (picks) and friendship to trade up to the #2 pick with the Rams and Les Snead as GM and he also seems to have greased the wheels for a trade back with the Falcons and Dimitroff if Clowney is available from previous reported comments from Dimitroff.


If Bridgewater is available at #2 and the Rams are entertaining offers from other teams in an attempt to trade up do you offer a few mid round picks to secure your guy, most likely being Bridgewater?


Assuming you decided to stay put at #3 and Clowney is available and the Falcons come calling offering a few mid round picks to swap 1st rounders do you take the deal or stay put and select Clowney?


One thing to consider. Both trades would involve trades between former partners/buddies so the picks given or the compensation received may be less than what you would expect when looking at the trade chart.
