No. When I go to the game and root for a team for 3 hours, I want a decisive winner and loser (although I probably would have been happy with ties over the past 10 years - lol).

My mentality is a little different when it comes to soccer since there is so little scoring and no salary cap (in European leagues) so lower salary teams almost need to play for a tie at times.

As Ted Lasso said ‘a tie is the first sign of the apocalypse in America’ ??

I like the way it works at present, the old way effectively meant you could win a game just by winning a coin flip.

Only other fair way would be to have it as sudden death but the team that led for the most minutes start with the ball.
