I think it's a great idea.

better idea is just not having overtime in regular season games. When you get to the postseason, no gimmicks, just continue on as a fifth quarter and so on. Why do we always have to overthink things?

I couldn't agree more. The rules already handle ties, and regular season rarely goes to OT anyhow. On the off chance we frequently see playoff contenders with two ties, you can discourage tie games by doing what soccer has done for years, counting a win is three points and a tie as one.

My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.
