Free agency Day 1 grades

I think what we have to keep in mind is that money that is unspent in free agency is still in our pocket, unlike a draft pick, which has to be spent.
Bad drafting is disastrous. Failure to hire impact free agents is not on the same level. We still have the money and the cap space, which can be carried forward. So I don't think you can give a "bad grade" for not making splash free agent signings. In the long run, what hurts is bad drafting. |
