It has to be one of these options and honest to God, I have no idea which one it is, but something is going on here. If I were Trevor Lawrence, I'd be rethinking whether I wanna come to Jacksonville. This is starting to feeling like the Indianapolis Colts situation where they drafted Andrew Luck and surrounded him with nothing.

Really doubt it is #2. Probably a mix of #1 and #3

I'd bet #2 is a big part of things. Players look at Jax as a wasteland bereft of talent, then they see the new head coach who has never been in the NFL in any capacity tried to hire a confirmed racist and they don't see a turnaround coming.

The jaguars are going to have to do it the hard way, which is drafting and developing, and I don't have faith in their ability to do either with this group.

If the Jags had brought in someone with a proven NFL record like Doug Pederson they might have had a better chance to sign some guys.

We're still exactly where we were in 2015 with Randall Cobb, just some chumps there to help guys get the teams they really want to play for pay them more.
