My reaction when I saw the news was to say "I hope we aren't paying him guaranteed money."  Barring injury, I don't see Josh Jones making our 53 man roster.  Jenkins starts at strong safety.  Daniel Thomas is given a chance to develop as his backup.  We have Jarrod Wilson for free safety, but I would be surprised with all of our draft picks if the Jaguars didn't draft a safety (probably early in the draft) to beat Wilson out or at least provide competition.  Safeties often fall in the draft.  If beaten out, Wilson would remain as a backup.  If not, the draft pick remains as the backup.  We also signed Rudy Ford as a free agent who can provide depth, but is an excellent special teams player which makes him unlikely to be cut.  That's five.  I don't think you keep six.  I don't see Josh Jones or Andrew Wingard making the team. If they are just camp bodies or are here in case of injuries to others, fine.
