A Potentially Interesting Twist at TE
|
I don’t want my WR playing TE. I want a TE that can block and catch. If I have to ride with O’Shaugnessey then that’s what I’ll do.
The bottom line is our offense has never revolved around the TE. We’ve always been blessed with a great RB and mediocre WRs (except for Jimmy, Keenan, ARob). I think Lewis and maybe Brady has been the only Pro Bowlers. Of course Johnson is saying he is willing to try it because he’s not a starter and he’s looking for starter type money. And it makes him more valuable when it’s time to make cuts. When Wilford moves to TE he was plain ol Ernest Wilford. Still heavy footed but he did atleast catch the ball. |
