1. Jacksonville Jaguars- Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
2. New York Jets- Zach Wilson, QB, BYU Though I like Wilson, I can't shake the feeling that the jets not keeping Darnold and trading back is a mistake.
3. San Francisco 49’ers (Via Mia Via Hou)- Mac Jones, QB, Alabama -Not entirely sold on this pick, either. Not a knock on you, but for the 49ers if this is their pick.
4. Atlanta Falcons- Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida-Have a lot of great options at this slot.
5. Cincinnati Bengals- Penei Sewell, OT, Oregon-To me, the only pick for them to make.
6. Miami Dolphins (Via Phi)- Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU
7. Detroit Lions- DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama-The draft's first enigma, though this pick makes sense
8. Carolina Panthers- Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern-This tells me Greg little was a bust.
9. Denver Broncos- Justin Fields, QB, OSU
10. Dallas Cowboys- Patrick Surtain, CB, Alabama
11. New York Giants- Micah Parsons, OLB, Penn State
12. Philadelphia Eagles (Via Mia Via SF)- Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama-This is a team that could use a ton of help. Not sure what happened to this organization.
13. L.A. Chargers- Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech
14. Minnesota Vikings- Jaelan Phillips, DE, Miami (Fla.)
15. New England Patriots- Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State
16. Arizona Cardinals- Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina
17. Las Vegas Raiders- Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU
18. Miami Dolphins- Kwity Paye, DE/OLB, Michigan
19. Washington Football Team- Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State This pick would give the WFT a great right side...but it would disappoint the hell out of me as a Jaguars fan.
20. Chicago Bears- Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas
21. Indianapolis Colts- Liam Eichenburg, OT, Notre Dame
22. Tennessee Titans- Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech
23. New York Jets (Via Sea)- Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
24. Pittsburgh Steelers- Alijah Vera-Tucker, OT/OG, USC-Picks 19-21 and this pick represent the run I long feared would happen.
25. Jacksonville Jaguars (Via LAR)- Zaven Collins, ILB, Tulsa-Disappointed OL not addressed, but this would be a great addition to our LB corps.
26. Cleveland Browns- Gregory Rousseau, DE, Miami (Fla.)
27. Baltimore Ravens- Terrace Marshall, WR, LSU
28. New Orleans- Levi Onwuzurike, DT, Washington
29. Green Bay Packers- Azeez Ojulari, OLB, Georgia

34. New York Jets- Greg Newsome, CB, Northwestern

37. Philadelphia Eagles- Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn State-Could easily see this happening and it would hurt.
38. Cincinnati Bengals- Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota

My comments in teal.
Again...good work.
Thanks. Like I said, it's not what I would do, It's what I believe the team will do. I'm not really a fan of what I have predicted in round 2, especially. Without hesitation, I'd take Jamin Davis and Spencer Brown in those slots. That way I could keep Collins on the outside, have Davis on the inside and pickup a RT in Brown, that I have rated much higher than Mayfield. Davis in particular, is a player I like more and more as the draft approaches.
I would also take Dyami Brown at the top of round 3. He would give us another deep threat, along with Chark.
I take Safety Jamar Johnson and stick with Kenny Yeboah for our 4th round picks. I really like Johnson and Yeboah is the kind of TE that plays more like a WR. He has great hands and can stretch plays.
I'm also a fan of Gainwell at the top of round 5. He has excellent speed and hands and would be the ideal compliment to Robinson for the run game, but I would take OT Josh Ball with our next pick. He's a little raw, but I really liked what I saw from him last season and I see a lot of potential as a Swing Tackle.
Finally, with the last pick, I would take a guy I see flying under the radar. P.J. Burkhalter of Nicholls State. He was an FCS All-American in 2019 and has played both OG and Center. What little I can find of him was impressive. You pretty much have to find Nicholls State video and just focus on where he lines up. He was dominant against the guys he faced. As a 7th rounder, I think he's definitely worth a look.
As for Cincinnati, I agree. Sewell has to be the choice. Jonah Williams is solid, but Reiff is only a one year rental and they already have two good receivers in Boyd and Higgins. Sewell makes too much sense. You plug him in at LT, move Williams to LG, Reiff plays RT and when Reiff is gone, Williams moves to RT. The Bengals get Bateman in round 2, to stretch the field and they still have the #1 OT. In round 3, I get the more O-Line help with Leatherwood. I see him as an OG. He plugs right into the RG position and now, all they need to find is a halfway competent Center and the O-Line is complete.
