Seriously though, I really hope they don't screw up this draft and pass on Sewell. They've waited a long time to get a good QB (as have we) and I don't want to see Burrow's career shortened like Andrew Luck's was, due to not providing him with adequate protection.

When I look back at Bengals history (at least as I know it as a non Bengals fan), their best teams were always characterized by good to great offensive lines.  In the 80s, it was guys like Munoz, Kozerski, and Blados.  Later in the early 2000s, they had Levi Jones, Steinback and Willie Anderson.  It's interesting how often they let their OL go to crap within that historical context.

Exactly. That is why Sewell has to be the pick. They have an urgent need on the O-Line and Sewell is the best LT to enter the draft since Tyron Smith. Yes, there are great receiving options as well, but the Bengals have pretty good receivers in Higgins and Boyd and this WR class is so deep, they can find a speedster in the 2nd round to compliment the guys they have. The OT class on the other hand, is top heavy and what you might find in round 2 should be far less than what you would get if you drafted Sewell. Ideally, the Bengals should leave this draft with Sewell and another interior lineman that they could start right away. All things being equal, a Center would be perfect, but an OG would fit in as well.
