You can support cops and also realize that some form of police reform is needed. Sure, this cop was fired and videos are becoming more and more prevalent with technology, body cameras, etc., but I'm sure for every one that we see, there are a bunch more we don't see or that are "investigated" and nothing is done because the deck is stacked against the average citizen. Things like qualified immunity, etc. There is a culture in the police brother hood that covers up acts perpetrated by their peers and that needs to end. There need to be consequences for everyone, people shouldn't fear the police.

The guy in the video says he's afraid to get out of the car and the cops response is "yeah you should be!" Are you [BLEEP] kidding me??! It happens all too often, regardless of race.

A lot of people say "well just comply!" First, we've seen some scenarios end poorly, even when people are complying, and secondly, a lot of the times these cops escalate the situation and unnecessarily force people into this situation where they suddenly "just need to comply" and it's for no good reason at all. It's a violation of those peoples' rights and, in my opinion, should be considered a form of treason. No one should have their rights violated, ESPECIALLY, by those whom get paid by our tax dollars to protect our rights.
