If I'm by myself and its after dark I'm not pulling over for anyone until I get to a well lit area. Period. That is actually taught in safety classes.
And if I'm alone on a highway I'm calling 911 to tell them a cop wants to pull me over but I'm alone, my direction of travel, the last mile marker I saw and that I am driving to a gas station at the next exit and they can relay that info to the cop behind me. If they don't like it, too bad. The cops could and should have done a much better job here. Good grief. |
