I'm sure the second 'fact' is absolutely true but let me tell you- women are having fewer, if any kids, because they're not listening to a society that tells them they have to. They're not putting all their self worth into, or finding their identity in being something they're not; maternal. At least the ones who think for themselves aren't. Birth control is one of the best things to ever happen for women. That, and the ability and confidence to say, "no I'm not having kids."

I get a lot of grief when people learn I never wanted kids. I tell them I'm doing my part in population control and climate change. And it's none of their damn business.
