I just don't see that happening. I know the Packers shot themselves in the foot by drafting that Jordan Love kid last year. That was really stupid given that they already have a bonafide star QB, not to mention I think Love is gonna be a bust, but trading Rodgers? That would be madness! Keep him, try to move up in the draft and get him the best WR possible in a sign of good faith and basically offer to extend his contract, making him the richest QB in the NFL. He's signed through 2023, so if he wants to play elsewhere, he can't. Call his bluff and see if he retires. You don't trade him though. That is not even an option.

Good points. I wonder if this is a move from Rodgers to make sure they use that 1st round pick to actually help him unlike drafting Love or D.

Surely the cap hit from trading him makes this trade impossible. Packers been in the Championship game 2 years running, don't blow a team that close up
