What I also noticed about those teams are the QB. This is a QB driven league. If you got a good one then you can make moves good or bad and still be good.

I do think teams that have to win based on defense typically have short windows, whereas a great QB gives teams a low floor, and therefore an extended window. We saw that short window with the Broncos past Super Bowl win, and also with our own team in 2017.
