I remember my dad howling with laughter at "All in the Family". I was too young then to get it. That show was way ahead of it's time. On occasion my parents would put on The Lawrence Welk Show when it showed on PBS. Did you know Lawrence Welk, with his fresh off the boat accent, was born and raised in North Dakota?
