Aren't you vaccinated? You don't have much to worry about, other than catching minor cold symptoms. It wouldn't be much different than taking protective measures against the cold or flu at this point. I think you might be going a little overboard. Did the NFL previously have strict restrictions and rigorous testing for the flu or the cold?

I have kids and unvaxxed elderly fambly.

I also generally go from work to home, and contact few other people outside of the occasional trip to get groceries. I imagine a 20-something year old athlete is going to be hanging at clubs, out for dinner, and other social gatherings that will present a whole heckuva lot more chances at spreading things.

My worry isn't about the 20-something getting a raspy cough or achy muscles for a few days. My worry is who else they share contact with that might have significantly worse reaction to an infection.
