I discuss plenty of things on the board, but I won't derail this topic talking about that.


There's plenty of buzz about how X player isn't worth a X round pick.  Ultimately it's the General Manager's job to determine if someone is worth the pick or not.  Not nameless scouts, or radio shows or television stations.  General Managers.  

 

There are plenty of people saying no QB is worth a 1st round pick this year;  There are equal, if not greater, numbers of people saying there are.  In fact there's real talk of a QB going 1st overall.  Over a once in a lifetime player like Clowney.  Surely if no QB was worth a 1st round pick, nobody would think of picking a QB over Clowney. Let alone taken in the Top 5.


One source saying "There's no QB worth a 1st round pick in this draft" is not going to settle things.  Especially when there are plenty of sources that say that there are multiple Quarterbacks with 1st round grades.  


When you present the 1010XL report as 'fact', you're going to get called out on it. There are sources that disagree, and I'm sure there are General Managers who disagree as well -- ones who actually have the GM position as opposed to nameless scouts who will probably never rise any higher than their current position.
