What Jaguar Coaches are saying about the 'Big 3'.

These are what I found coming out today, looking for more...

Johnny Manziel

Jacksonville coach Gus Bradley: “He's very talented. How can you argue with what he's done and the plays he makes? An exciting player. I'm looking forward to watching everything and I know our staff has and we're in that process. We've been watching him for quite a while and seeing his traits, but he did some great things for his team."

Jacksonville General Manager David Caldwell: "His competitiveness is intriguing. Just his ability to win and compete and move the team is something that's really intriguing."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blake Bortles

Jacksonville coach Bradley: "Our GM and scouting staff are into that process more. To give you a complete evaluation at this point, I don't think I'm ready to do that, but I can tell you, we've watched enough that we're very intrigued by him, the traits he has -- big, tall, timing, accuracy, decision-making. Those are the things we take a close look at it. The evaluation process is never over. The Combine is important but it's just another piece of the puzzle. I'm looking forward to seeing him really compete. There's a chance to compete here and we'll keep an eye on him.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Teddy Bridgewater

Jacksonville coach Bradley: “He's got really good poise and very good decision-making and very accurate. That's what jumps out.”

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

From MMQB:
Quote:

On Friday night at the combine, the Jacksonville Jaguars had a 15-minute session with Johnny Manziel, the Texas A&M quarterback. Manziel hadn’t met anyone in the room. When he walked in, all the Jaguars coaches and officials stood.

Manziel went to owner Shahid Khan and shook his hand. “Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Khan. I’m Johnny Manziel.”

Then to his son Tony Khan, a team senior VP. “Hi Mr. Khan, Johnny Manziel.”

Then to coach Gus Bradley. “Hi Coach Bradley, pleasure to meet you. Johnny Manziel.”

Then to GM David Caldwell, and then to offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch. All the same: handshake, look ’em in the eye, refer to them by name. He knew them all. Now, he didn’t know the scouts in the room, but he knew five men by sight that he’d never met. “That was impressive,” Caldwell said. “He did a really nice job in there. He was prepared for the interview, very prepared.”

Sounds like Gus likes JOHNNY and Blake more than Teddy.

On the site where I found these quotes, that was all they had them saying about Teddy. Just that one line. Dunno if that's all they had to say, or if the quote was cut short by my source.

Looking for some more now...

It's hard to believe anything at this time of year. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is a smokescreen.

I've got my concerns about Manziel. I think the first time he rolls out of the pocket, JJ Watt or Robert Mathis is gonna kill the poor kid. But, if they do draft him, I'm not gonna think about jumping off the Modis building like I did with the Alualu or Derrick Harvey pick.

For the record... Give me Teddy, FTW.

Doesnt seem like Blake Bortles is a guy they have been paying a lot of attention too and are just now looking at him, based on last year Caldwell is a tape guy and goes for the guy he liked all year, he said that about Jockel, who was his guy from the end of the year until the draft

Bradley's quote about Bridgewater says it all, no reason to stress gents

He said the same thing about Bortles.

But he probably said it about Teddy first, so in wiseman's eyes that has more meaning.

That sure is "presenting" himself!

You also left out: "We've found:nothing that comes across as a fatal flaw to us." - Caldwell

They probably hadn't looked too much into him since most thought he was staying another year.

Yea there isnt a lot of tape on him, tho he has upside he is raw, we need a guy who can come in a play right away, Teddy fits that, everybody says Teddy is the most NFL ready QB and thats the kind of QB we need, not QB's with a questions or needs to sit and learn.

I am so ridiculously excited for this draft. We come out on top in so many ways, IMO. Ten picks in one of the deepest drafts in recent memory.

Trust me, the only person stressing about how much Ted is liked by anybody is you.

Agree. Quality through the fourth round. And with our needs, we have extra picks in the fifth as well. Good chance to pick up linemen, possibly another WR, secondary, backup QB, linebacker. There's a lot to like about this draft classes depth.

When johnny ego shook their hands they forgot to mention how much johnny looks up to them....literally.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.
