I figured I would get a response like this. There is at least one in every crowd, unfortunately. Its the reason I rarely come here anymore even though I am a huge Jaguar fan. 
Is it a sin to try to start a conversation? For this time of year this boards lack of activity is a joke and its posters like you that make it this way.

The subject matter of your question was good, but it was premature to introduce it now.

As far as the response goes, I think it was relatively tame as far as message board responses go.

I've been on the receiving end of many adverse responses, whether the expressly hostile ones or the deafening silence of non responses to threads I thought would be of interest.

Don't take them personally.

As a long time poster here, I assure you people here enjoy good football discussion/debate and provide it...which is why I am a long time poster.

If you wanna talk football here, brush yourself off and keep posting.  You'll get the discussion you seek when possible.

Right now, it's too soon for anyone to really give much intelligent analysis.  The title you gave this thread indicates as much.
