Nah, dude. Communists were doing exactly what ANTIFA is doing now, but far less subtly. They were attempting to erode national identity to being about a new era. The fascist movements in both Germany and Italy only gained power because nationalists wanted to push back against people who were destroying their country from inside. It's not an accident that Hitler went after the communists first. Also, you're failing to consider the overlap between anti-Semitism and communism, especially in the minds of the NAZI's.
